I realize I am not a typical applicant to the positions I applied. I was pursuing a PhD but had to discontinue back in 2011. Since then, I have not had a consistent work except for self-employed crowd-sourcing work. I was hired as an adjunct faculty last year, but adjuncts are not guaranteed a class every semester. So, I wanted to find a remote work that is somewhat consistent, which is when I came across various remote work possibilities that fit my needs quite nicely.
I worked as an Adjunct Faculty in Biology from the Fall of 2022 to Spring of 2023. I was doing my PhD in Bioengineering at UC Merced but discontinued in 2011. And since then, I was doing various tasks on crowdsource site like mturk.com as an employment. Much of the work I did on the platform dealt with AI annotation and data generation.
