Sean Riordan

I am an experienced security director with over 15 years in the security industry. I have worked in multiple different disciplines inside the industry, from events to corporate security, executive protection, Hospitality security, and I have acted as a security consultant on behalf of both companies and privately. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in criminal justice, my physical security professional license through ASIS, and a few other industry leading certifications.

I am currently the security director for the largest hotel in the city of Sacramento.

Hyatt Regency Sacramento - 23 - current

Currently I am in charge of all security operations for the largest hotel in the city of Sacramento the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento. As we are directly across from the state capitol on L Street this brings very unique security concerns that necessitates a very delicate approach to security leadership. I maintain our entire security and safety infrastructure, from monthly inspections on our AED devices and fire extinguishers, to maintaining a bolo list on all trespass and threatening individuals.

I attend monthly downtown Sacramento partnership meetings where I work very closely with the Sacramento Police Department, the downtown core area prosecutor and the business Improvement District leadership as well as all other security leadership for nearby properties. The responsibilities of this position are vast and I would be very excited to discuss my experience here with you.
