'm an intern reporter based in Nashville, currently reporting on science, technology, and economics for WPLN Nashville Public Radio.

I've pitched, reported, and aired 20+ stories for our time-slots within NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered, and previously rebooted Belmont University's audio journalism program from the ground up — growing it to 1,000+ listeners in two semesters. I was also an RA for three years at Belmont, where I worked with hundreds of students and learned how to make others feel at home and create a fun environment for students.

I'm a May 2026 graduate of Belmont University and actively seeking full-time roles in public media, multimedia production/post-production, higher education and marketing.

• Pitched, reported and aired over 20 news stories on the radio for flagship NPR shows like Morning Edition and All Things Considered; gained on-air hosting experience by shadowing ME host Nina Cardone and ATC hosts LaTonya Turner and Katherine Sweeney.
• Hands on with social media content, specifically with video editing and carousel creation alongside our Digital Editor Megan Jones. Responsible for a 20% increase in monthly followers since start of internship.

Senior Audio-News Editor at Belmont Vision (2024-08 – 2025-12)

• Rebooted the Vision's audio program after two years of dormancy. Brought in over 1,000 new listeners over the span of 2 semesters, and weekly trained freshmen students on podcast equipment.
• Reported on important news around campus and greater Nashville-area with Weekly Recap episodes, focusing on consistency and accuracy to best inform the student body.
• Oversaw and edited award-winning SEJC podcasts like Sideline Vision and Beyond the Boulevard.

• Working on a staff under a Residence Director and with 8 other Resident Assistants to operate and manage a student dorm of roughly 200 residents.
• Host community events for my floor of 30 residents and work with other Resident Assistants to cultivate community and bring together students.
