Shalanda Kindred

I am a stay-at-home mother of Boys. My day consists of Homeschooling my children and keeping up with housework. While having my children i put my career on the backburner. They are now old enough for me to be able to work as well as manage all my other duties.

I am very passionate about helping individuals' problem solve. I have been in customer service on and off for 11 years. I have worked a wide variety of jobs. Each different place and each different company I specialized in customer service.

I have worked at waffle house as a server, Walmart as a cashier, and a overnight stocker. I worked at multiple gas stations such as marathon and Mapco. The main job role that was most enjoyable with all these positions is the ability to talk to a diverse field of people.

I got to help people with their issues without being irate and irritable with them. The ability to know how to approach someone in a situation and de-escalate and also get to the root of the problem and do everything in my power to fix it. The ability to understand that some individuals have a harder time communicating based on mental disabilities as well as physical disabilities.

The ability to be a caring individual is vital in this field of work. I prefer to work remotely. I would like to finally find my career home that i can eventually retire at.

I quit high school in the 11th grade. I have attempted to go back and get my ged but i am more focused on my children getting their schooling done. I am willing to go back to get my ged if it is vital to getting a position. Seeing as the fact that not all jobs need a high school diploma or a GED to be accepted i have never felt it of vital importance to have.
