My foundational beliefs stem from my faith and my commitment to fostering meaningful transformations in my students' lives. I am dedicated to serving two school communities in Roslindale, where I take a proactive role in leading and involving all stakeholders in data-informed decision-making to enhance overall student achievements. Whether students are in classrooms, music rooms, or on the field, I ensure that comprehensive and effective supports and services are accessible to all.
I prioritize embedding anti-racist practices and culturally and linguistically sustaining approaches into every facet of my work, ensuring that the advancement and well-being of every student remain the focal point of our efforts.
In my current consulting role, I co-lead the Caregiver Conversations project, which aims to foster supportive peer networks and enhance parenting skills among caregivers of children with mental health needs. I assist with content development, recruitment, training, and consultation for group leaders, as well as facilitating focus groups and sustainability plans. As a Clinical Community Consultant at The Baker Center for Children and Families, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver innovative programs and trainings that promote caregiver engagement, mental health awareness, and positive youth development.
Through these roles, I leverage my skills in effective communication and educational administration to create positive outcomes for children and families. With over 15 years of experience in education and child advocacy, I am passionate about supporting children and families who face academic, social, and emotional challenges. My mission is to provide them with the resources, guidance, and empowerment they need to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
