Sharon Martin

I am Sharon McNeice Martin, a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and over two decades of diverse clinical experience. My expertise spans telemetry, emergency response, behavioral health, and patient-centered care in high-pressure and fast-paced healthcare environments. With a strong background in developing and managing care plans, administering treatments, and providing patient education, I am committed to enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.

I excel in building meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues, leveraging my outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills. Certified in BLS/ACLS, I am passionate about delivering holistic, quality care that promotes prevention and wellness.

I bring over 30 years of diverse nursing experience across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, behavioral health systems, travel nursing, and specialized care facilities. As a Registered Nurse and Charge Nurse, I have managed complex patient caseloads, provided acute and chronic care, and led interdisciplinary teams. My expertise includes telemetry, emergency response, behavioral health, IV therapy, wound care, and patient education.

I have served as a first responder during critical events, including COVID-19, and excel in high-pressure environments requiring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and patient advocacy. My career reflects a dedication to improving patient outcomes and fostering wellness through compassionate, evidence-based care.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Kaplan University, St. Louis, MO, and an Associate of Science in Nursing (RN Diploma) from Baptist Health School of Nursing, Little Rock, AR. Additionally, I obtained my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a foundational nursing diploma from Coahoma Community College, Clarksdale, MS in 1994.

My academic background is complemented by my membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and my training as a Medical Lab Technician (92B) in the U.S. Army Reserves. These qualifications underpin my extensive clinical expertise and commitment to professional excellence in nursing.
