About

My experience is substantially related to Financial Management, CAPEX Management, Supply Chain Management, Order Management, Procurement, Accounting and Finance, and Process Re-engineering by winning and delivering upon the largest & complex projects. The industries I have served for the last 6 and a half years are primarily or indirectly linked to Telecommunication and SaaS companies. In the initial phase of my career, I also gained experience as Business Development Executive and a few months as Financial Auditor in an audit firm.

I am passionate about bridging my career back to Financial Management, Budgeting Planning, and Analysis. China Mobile Pakistan – Zong

Achievements:

Executed investment evaluations and performed pre-post ROIs of 150 Government and Corporate Service Solutions, multiple Universal Service Funds Pakistan Projects profiling $25-$30 million each and did financial modeling on over 2,000 Cell Sites as per telecommunication industry regulations and accounting standards (IAS 20 and IFRS 15).
Designed and implemented digitalization project in partnership with Huawei to automate ROI process on Huawei’s platform and reduced manual work by almost 40%.
Performed CAPEX (Fixed Asset) Management and Budgeting and Planning of over $300 million annually in accordance with the group policies and making consolidated reports for China Mobile Communication Corporation on budgeting, utilization, and investment realization.
Prepared and issued Purchase Requisitions and Orders for CAPEX projects on iProcurement Oracle Module in coordination with Technical, Procurement, and Finance Departments and processed invoices on Oracle R12.

Achievements:

Performed month-end closings and reporting processes including accruals and expense analysis of OPEX worth of PKR ~8M along with the Intercompany Accounts, Cost Allocation, and Regional Bifurcation of OPEX.
Maintained monthly prepayments and amortization schedules and reconciliations. Optimized the Chart-of-Accounts with 1,200 GL Codes and configured it on GL Module level during Jazz-Warid merger.
Worked on (Sarbanes Oxley's) SOX compliance and liaised with internal and external audits related to GL Team concerns. Coordinated with lawyers, registrar/ transfer agent, and Central Depositary Company of Pakistan with reference to the facilities as and when required.
Assisted in the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of 5 GL Modules during “Oracle Vision Automation & VimpelCom Global Services Private Limited Project”.
