About

I have been a nurse since 1992. Thirty three of these years have been spent as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. I have cared for babies, children, adults, geriatric patients and their families.

I have treated patients with lacerations, food poisoning, asthma, febrile seizures, head injuries, strokes, tachycardia, sepsis, congestive heart failure, psychiatric emergencies, pneumonia, covid, cardiac arrest, and so much more. I am great at applying ace bandages, dressings, inserting foleys, drawing blood, inserting IVs, and preparing ambulation aides such as crutches, walkers, and canes. Unfortunately, my hospital recently closed its doors for good.

I would love the opportunity to work at a stand-alone ER that is so close to my home. I also have my BSN, BLS, and ACLS. I truly love being a Registered Nurse and look forward to going to work each day.

I have learned so much throughout the years and can't wait to learn more. I am easy to get along with and enjoy working with others. I learned about teamwork early on from my "ER Family". I hope to get this amazing opportunity.
