Recent Mechatronics Engineering graduate from Kennesaw State University with a strong foundation in robotics and programming, seeking a challenging position in engineering where I can leverage my technical skills and hands-on project experience.

Senior Design Project - Lead Programmer at Kennesaw State University (2024-01 – 2024-12)

Designed and built a smart façade system with kinetic louvers as part of a 4-member team. Assisted with electrical aspects.

• Integrated temperature and light sensors, as well as servo motors, with a Raspberry Pi microcontroller.
• Developed Python software to process sensor data and dynamically adjust louvers for energy efficiency.

Directed Study Medical Device - Lead Programmer at Kennesaw State University (2023-01 – 2023-12)

Collaborated in a team to develop a pressure-sensing glove under professorial guidance. The purpose of the glove was to help train chiropractors so they could accurately gauge how much force they were using to adjust and avoid patient injury.

• Programmed data acquisition in Python from pressure sensors and reformatted the output for further use.
• The project originally used a Raspberry Pi, then switched to a Raspberry Pico due to size constraints as well as unneeded computing power.

Mechatronics Programming Robot - Lead Programmer at Kennesaw State University (2021-01 – 2021-12)

Built and programmed a robot capable of sorting colored disks using Arduino and preconstructed sets. Assisted with construction.

• While given pieces and instructions on what to build, the lab sets used were old and missing pieces, so the group had to substitute or redesign some aspects based on the limited parts available.

Vex Robot Competition - Lead Programmer at Kennesaw State University (2019-01 – 2019-12)

Helped to construct Vex robot and wrote C code to control robot through wireless controller. The competition was a mix of moving and stacking boxes into a specific area or collecting and placing balls into elevated baskets.

• Several of the problems faced in this project include designing a system for the robot to pick up and place balls, as well as team members failing to show up or work on the robot.
• Team won first place in the competition.
