I am an aspiring medical student seeking for an opportunity expand my clinical experiences and knowledge while partnering with physicians and providers to deliver exceptional and efficient patient care.

I began my role as a Scribe/Medical Assistant at Dallas Healthcare for Children in April 2022, I collaborate with providers to deliver quality patient care. My responsibilities include appointment scheduling, room assignment, medical history collection, vital sign recording, relaying patient concerns, antigen testing, sample collection, vaccination administration, and documenting accurate records in AthenaHealth EMR. I also facilitate patient-provider communication as a Spanish interpreter when needed.

Prior to this, I was worked at Wingstop for 4 years where I started as a cashier but moved up the ranks to General Manager. I lead a team of 20 employees, managing daily operations, coordinating schedules, maintaining food safety standards, and connecting with vendors to sustain efficient and high-quality operations. This franchise was the busiest location out of 85 franchises in the company, selling about $60,000 weekly.

I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Texas Woman‘s University. I graduated in December, 2022.
