Data science and business analytics are my passions, and I am always eager to learn and apply new skills and tools to solve real-world problems. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Analytics at Kent State University, where I have gained hands-on experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and modeling, using Python, R, SQL, and other languages and frameworks.
As a Business Analyst Intern at National STEM Honor Society (NSTEM), I worked on various business questions through data collection, analysis, and visualization, using Google Analytics, Google Sheets, SQL, and Tableau. Previously, I worked as a Tax Consultant at KPMG, where I prepared personal income tax calculations and returns for clients, communicated with tax authorities, and simplified complex information. This experience sharpened my analytical skills and taught me the nuances of financial complexities.
During my master's program at Kent State University, I gained strong analytical and research abilities through coursework and projects while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. My coursework provided me the opportunity to strengthen my skills in tools like SQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB, allowing me to efficiently deal with relational databases and analyze datasets. My work on an Empty Parking Spot Detector, where I created and fine-tuned multiple neural network models, sharpened my ability to tackle challenging problems and find novel solutions.
In addition, I excelled at data cleaning, analysis, and creating interactive dashboards with technologies like Power BI to effectively deliver insights to stakeholders.
