My name is Sonia Jackson. I have a passion for helping children and I have been working with disadvantaged youth for the past 21 years at a Title One School. I would love the opportunity to continue this good work. I realize all children are different and have different needs and it is imperative we meet the children where they are, and create a strategy to help them reach their fullest potential.
I have worked as a Texas Works Advisor III for 10 years and an educator for the past 21 years. This year I was nominated as ESL Teacher of the year. I am also also the team Lead for my grade level. I also mentor new teachers for their first two years.
