I am a recent graduate with my Master's in Social Work. I am passionate about disability competence, early access to mental health resources, and the importance of community and peer support.

Summer Camp Counselor at Hope Haven (2025-05 – Present)

• Working with students age 4 – 21 with disabilities (physical, intellectual, developmental, etc.)
• Teaching interview/job skills to students 13+
• Teaching coping skills for de-escalation, self-soothing, interpersonal relationship skills, etc.

Student Work Group Federal Work Study at UNF (2024-01 – 2025-12)

• Ran a group of five future social workers with disabilities to make a curriculum resource guide on disability topics for accredited universities.

Intern at Center for Independent Living (CIL) Jacksonville (2024-01 – 2025-12)

Intern in the Deaf Empowerment Program helping consumers apply for benefits, find stable jobs, and housing.

• Assist other departments with social media, multidisciplinary meetings with clients, and outreach events advocating for the disability community.

Intern at Duval County Public Schools (2025-01 – 2026-12)

• Worked to find resources to empower our students and their families.
• Worked with the school's administration to improve student attendance.
• Completed social histories to ensure that students get the proper placement and accommodations.

Graduate Research Position at University of North Florida (2025-01 – 2026-12)

• Creating and implementing surveys to deduce the needs of the Disability Community.
• Compile all the data into a publishable article and present it at a research symposium.

Peer Support Group at Y.A.A.P Care and Connect (2026-01 – Present)

• Help develop a peer support group for young adults with alcoholic parents.
• Work to address past traumas and find peace and growth for the future.
