My name is Sophiana Simone, and I am currently a Cellular and Molecular Biology (Genetics specialization) major at Boston University. I am writing to inquire about any available Medical Assistant or clinical support opportunities within your practice. Although I do not yet hold a formal Medical Assistant certification, I am BLS, CPR, and AED certified and eager to gain hands-on clinical experience.
I am also willing to achieve the certification by time of employment. Through my role as a Lab Technician at Boston Medical Center and new role in the Medical Career Exploration Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, I have developed strong clinical professionalism, patient-centered communication skills, and experience working in fast-paced healthcare environments. My background also includes hospital volunteer work and research experience at Mount Sinai Hospital and White Plains Hospital.
I am highly motivated, and committed to providing patient care while continuing to grow in the medical field. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to further discuss how I can contribute to your team. Thank you for your time and consideration.
