Stacey Larsen

I have been a Buyer for most of my adult life. I took a few years to become a real estate agent but returned to Buying. I love it and I know it well. I have purchased food, chemicals, and packaging. Food is, by far, my favorite. I want to do it again very soon. I think a big hurdle is my age. Most companies want someone younger, but I am only as old as I feel. I'm an asset to any company, as I have much experience, I am super passionate about my work, and I am fun & friendly to work with.

I have over 20 years in Buying: food, chemicals, nutritionals, & packaging. Food is my favorite. The majority of my buying was with food. I started at age 19 when I was given a chance to be a buyer at a food service distributor.

After many years, I purchased chemicals for a personal care manufacturer and a nutritional company, but food was always in between there, and it is what I am most passionate about. I took a few years off from Buying to become a real estate agent. Though I really enjoyed it, I went back to Buying.

I graduated high school. I did not attend college, as the field I wanted to go into was barely covered in any of the colleges in my state. I have had various training and Buying awards. I would love to continue learning anything related to Buying and I am open to any training or certifications that would be made possible in my next job.
