My name is Stacie Tornga and I have had the privilege of teaching at the elementary level in a foreign country as well as working for a local nonprofit as a manager who recruits, trains, and retains over 300 volunteers for our organization. I have developed excellent skills in communication, including presenting information to large groups, creating and implementing trainings that are accessibly to multiple experience levels, as well as working with a very diverse group of individuals. I enjoy empowering, inspiring, and motivating others through professionalism, passion, and empathy.
I worked in Guadalajara, Mexico for over 4 years teaching 4th grade. I am a certified teacher with my Masters in Innovation, and Curriculum. I was offered an opportunity right after I completed my Master's degree and found a passion for working with kids and creating lesson plans that were accessible to many different levels, creating a safe and kind environment for my kids to grow in, as well as maintaining communication and relationships with their parents.
After that, I moved into managing volunteers for the Nonprofit Camp Rainbow Gold. I have been managing hundreds of volunteers each year and have created online, in-person, and supplemental trainings for our volunteers.
