I am a Reading Intervention Teacher. I love helping the light turn on for kids as they learn more phonics skills and become more fluent at reading.

I have been teaching for 20 years. During that time I have taught preschool, first grade, Reading Intervention, K-4 Engineering , and 3rd grade Science and Social Studies.

I have been trained in Reading By Design which is a Dyslexia intervention program. This curriculum helps students who have a learning disability with phonics, fluency, phonemic awareness, and comprehension.
