Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time contributing to open source projects in Github and was even able to release version 5.0 of a collaborative project called dbSpy. Just as a brief overview, dbSpy is a SQL database visualizer/manipulator dev tool that currently has access to 5 different SQL databases all in a single application. The main tech stacks that it uses are TypeScript, React, Express, and Node and is hosted through AWS.
I was responsible for building most of the backend to have a ORM focus in mind to simplify the process of implementing additional databases to the codebase. The response from the dev community has been really positive so far and I was even invited to give a tech talk to a group of engineers about the benefit of using TypeScript in your code which was an honor!
