Hi, my name is Steven. I’ve been in the entertainment industry for nearly 2 decades. I’m currently an audio and lighting technician for Iatse local 27, as well as a stagehand for them. I’ve also been DJing & producing music under the stage name Deebin Since 2008.
I have over a decade of experience in audio engineering and AV work, handling everything from live sound reinforcement to studio recording and digital editing. I’ve managed full recording workflows, set up and maintained a wide range of audio systems, and collaborated closely with clients, producers, and teams to deliver clean, reliable, and creative sound in a variety of environments. My background includes supervising and training technicians, troubleshooting complex audio issues, and using tools like ProTools, MIDI applications, and digital mixing desks to shape high‑quality mixes and recordings.
I’m detail‑oriented, adaptable, and passionate about producing excellent sound, whether I’m supporting a live event or crafting a polished studio project.
I completed formal training in Audio Engineering at Mt. San Jacinto College, where I built a strong foundation in recording, mixing, digital audio technology, and sound production. That program gave me the technical grounding that I later expanded through more than a decade of hands‑on work in live sound and studio environments. Before that, I earned my high school diploma from El Rancho High School.
