Storm Jazwinski

My name is Storm Jazwinski I just moved to New York City from Los Angeles a few months ago. I have dreamed about working at Buzzfeed ever since i can remember. I was working as a marketing assistant and social media director for Rave wonderland in La for almost two years.

I was in charge opf putting out fresh engaging content daily as well as coordinating events and collaborations with influencers. I absolutely love marketing and the science behind advertisement and trends. I am a huge social media user myself and spend my free time catching new trends and coming up with new ways to express my creativity.

I have been experimenting with my creative direction and photography this year and hope to take my writing, video production/editing, and marketing skills to the next level. I might not have the most experience however i am an extremely hard worker and know i will bring an unstoppable positive attitude to the table. I thrive working on my own but love collaborating with others.

My eyes widened like never before reading this job posting as it is a perfect fit for me. I am honored just to be considered and would love to meet in person to discuss the position in greater detail.

I have been working as a server and bartender while working on my own projects on the side during my time in New York. I got a job in retail during high school and shortly after i graduated i had made my way up to the marketing assistant and social media director for the company. I was in charge of coordinating events and advertisements.

I worked one on one with all of our influencers creating new content and promotions daily. I was in charge of all of the social media posts and in store events. I absolutely thrive in a creative setting with many responsibilities.

I have always loved working. I spent all my summers as a kid volunteering at my old daycare and as soon as i was old enough i spent every weekend babysitting. I know i am young but I am an extremely hard worker and eager to learn.

I pick up skills very easily and will commit to anything i set my mind to.

I graduated from Alexander Hamilton High school and decided college was not the right fit for me at this point in my life. I do hope to go back to school one day but i feel world experience is the education that is best for me at this time. In school I was extremely passionate about film and production.

I ran my schools weekly news TV station and managed many school plays and musicals. I did graphic design for my high schools yearbook and was a part of our film festival. i am a hands on and visual learner so high school was definitely a but of a challenge as all i wanted to do was work and learn about the real world however i think it was a great experience that i made the most of at the time.
