As a student with a keen interest in emerging technology, I am excited about the possibilities that new technologies hold for business and design. I am constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and skills in this field, with a particular focus on understanding how emerging technologies can be applied to real-world problems and opportunities.
In my coursework and extracurricular activities, I have taken every opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in emerging technology, including areas such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality. I am also interested in exploring the ethical implications of these technologies, and how we can ensure that they are used in responsible and socially beneficial ways.
In addition to my technical interests, I am also passionate about design and have taken courses and workshops to develop my skills in areas such as graphic design, web design, and user experience design. I believe that good design is essential for creating technology that is not only functional but also enjoyable and engaging for users.
Overall, I am eager to continue exploring the intersection of emerging technology, business, and design as a student, and to eventually apply my knowledge and skills in these areas to make a positive impact in the world.
During February 2015 to May 2015 Communication Internship at the Ohio Department of Administrative Services in Columbus, OH, I conducted social media research on web development and cyber security topics. I created reports and presentations on my findings and assisted in the preparation of presentations on these topics. From September 2015 to January 2019, I worked as a Desktop Services Intern at the Ohio Department of Administrative Services' Office of Information Technology in Columbus, OH.
During this time, I obtained internship positions at both Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels and became proficient in hardware and software use and troubleshooting. I configured employee computers in accordance with established protocol, managed trouble tickets for VOIP/cell phone and printer service, and conducted various tests on state computers.
I am excited to share that I will soon be graduating from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in Emerging Technology in Business and Design, along with a minor in Computer Science and Games + Simulation.
