I have a Masters in Library Media and a Bachelors in English with a focus on Creative Writing. I am a certified K-12 Media Specialist currently Elementary certified in Oklahoma. I have been teaching for eight years from August 2018 to May 2026.
I have had a strong focus on STEM, Project Based Learning, SEL, and higher level critical thinking. I worked at the Pioneer Public Library in Shawnee between 2015 and 2019 and gained experience with circulation, the general public, stakeholders, and cataloging that I have carried over into my current career.
