Hello! My name is Tamara Islas Morales, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture and minors in Business and Media Studies.

I am passionate about creating spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and responsive to the communities they serve. My academic and professional experiences have allowed me to develop a strong foundation in architectural design, technical documentation, and collaborative problem-solving while reinforcing the importance of community engagement and social impact in the built environment.

C4CA - Boulder County, CO Bilingual Community Coordinator | December 2025 – Present Connect high school students with mentorship and job-shadowing opportunities in climate-solution fields. Build partnerships across regenerative agriculture, solar, heat pumps, arboriculture, wildfire response, and climate policy. Coordinate bilingual guest speakers and ensure accessible, age-appropriate programming.

Support newcomer students through translation and culturally responsive mentorship. Organize site visits and manage logistics, including public transportation access. Collaborate with educators and municipalities, including the City of Lafayette and the City of Louisville.

Sweet Casita Bakes — Boulder, CO Founder & Baker | October 2024 – Present Founded and operate a small baking business specializing in homemade baked goods for local events and custom orders. Manage budgeting, pricing, marketing, and customer communication. Coordinate pop-ups and custom orders while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. Grow a loyal customer base through social media engagement and word-of-mouth marketing.

Clean and Tidy Cleaning Services — Glenwood Springs, CO Assistant Manager & Cleaner | May 2024 – Present Assisted in launching and operating a small cleaning business. Manage client communication, scheduling, invoicing, and expense tracking. Provide residential and post-construction cleaning with a strong focus on detail and client satisfaction.

Studio PBA — Denver, CO Architecture Intern | May 2023 – August 2023 Updated and modified construction documents using Revit. Integrated RFI updates into live drawing sets to ensure accuracy and compliance. Annotated plans, sections, and interior elevations based on client-requested changes. Organized digital submittals by specification sections. Used Bluebeam Revu to manage drawing markups and revisions. Participated in client meetings and site visits to observe project coordination
