Tamara Parker

I am married with four children. My youngest graduated in May 2026, so I am ready to go back to work full time. Three of my children have graduated from college and my youngest son will be attending Colorado School of Mines in August.

I value education and have worked with educators for much of my life. I enjoy people and feel that I can relate to most people and form connections quickly. I have taught 6th grade, 5th grade, 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 1st grade.

In addition I have worked as a special education aide in multiple settings.

August 2023- May 2025: I taught second grade in a self contained classroom and was responsible for creating lesson plans for all subjects, keeping grades, and reporting information to parents and administration within our school. The two years went well and I was able to build excellent relationships with the parents and students.
