I have an entrepreneurial mindset and have been running my own business for quite some time now. Things happen for a reason, and now I am looking to be employed by others. I have many skills, whether it's office, people or life skills, I am a doer. I have been in Customer Service my entire career, so if you are looking for someone to get things done, I would be a major asset to your establishment.
I created my own online travel agency, specializing in all inclusive resort vacations. I created and maintained the websites, took care of IT, created a database specific to my company's needs, after trying other apps that were available. I created all the documentation that was required and they were all attached to the database to streamline our booking process.
I oversaw the entire company, and what I am most proud of is the fact that I had little to no staff turnover. In fact, after my business closed, my staff and I are still in touch. This does not mean that I was a pushover by any means, because the work always got done, but what it does mean is that I earned the respect from my employees.
My company also maintained an A+ rating with the BBB for the entire time I was in business. All of the things that I mentioned were all self-taught.
I went to the school of Hard Knocks to learn most of what I learned. I went to college and took one course on Computer Science and Technology, then instead of enrolling for the next semester, I took my A+ grade, went home and created the online travel agency that I mentioned above.
