I am a recent graduate who is passionate about everything related to sewing, crafting, and design. I desire to work in a creative environment and be part of a team that takes pride in producing high-quality, innovative products. As a fashion design student, I highly enjoyed experimenting with fabric by altering its nature through dyeing and silk-screening.
I also experimented with weaving. For my thesis collection, I wove fine electrical wire for one of my garments. For much of my fashion design work, I create my fabric from scraps or by repurposing used garments.
I like looking at fabric through a new lens. I am highly skilled at reading patterns, measuring fabric, and accurately assembling and sewing products. I have strong hand-eye coordination and excel at working with my hands.
In general, I have a genuine love for the making process.
I have experience working for an alteration company where I developed a strong proficiency in using industrial Juki sewing machines. My attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure allowed me to deliver results on time. I have a strong work ethic—I am reliable, always show up to work on time, and strive for quality.
During college, for a summer internship, I worked for a baby brand start-up. My responsibilities included brand development, design, pattern making, and production of a baby clothing collection. I also created visually interesting mood boards that captured the owner’s vision.
In May 2024, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Moore College of Art, Philadelphia, Pa.
