• Digitized the main stems (2008 and 2024) of six major tributaries in the James River watershed — Pearson Creek, Turners Creek, Sawyers Creek, Panther Creek, Turnbo Creek, and Dry Creek — and conducted bank erosion and channel change analysis between the two time periods.
• Digitized the 2024 main channel of the James River and performed a comparative channel morphology assessment using previously digitized years (1996, 2008, 2015, and 2022) to evaluate spatial patterns of channel adjustments.

• Downloaded historical and current aerial images from USGS-Earth Explorer and georeferenced the images in the GIS 10.8 environment.
• Digitized the channel planforms and location of bars to identify erosion and deposition zones in major tributaries, including the main channels of the Little St. Francis River and the Spring River, within the EPA Region-7 and Tri-State Mining Districts, respectively.
• Using USGS-DSAS 6.0 to estimate the bank-to-bank (Left and right bank) erosion based on the historical channel boundary.
