I have recently entered the workforce after several years as a home maker. I cook I clean I run errands and in general give care. I started caretaking at home of my uncle who was mentally disabled at a very young age.

I have worked in a nursing home as an aid and was promptly moved to the kitchen at the same facility. They found out about my little food parties I would throw for my people and decided they needed me to cook. I also have extensive experience cooking at Gladys Soulfood restuant for almost 9 years.

I'm a cook and caregiver. I do housekeeping elder care I also provide transportation to appt.

I was employed at Westchester plaza in 1998-late 1999 I worked as a companion and health aid my duties were as follows. Companionship, personal care and administration of meds. At the time I worked two floors on in which patients were bedbound and the other floor were mobile.

On Fridays I would feed my floors as a treat. I was then asked to become 2nd shift cook and manager of the kitchens in the facility for the next year and a half. I went back to work at Gladys after being offered a higher wage.

I worked for Gladys soulfood from 1996 - 2004. I am seeking employment as a care/aid/homecook.
