I am currently a junior mechatronics technician, working and maintaining a fully automated manufacturing line. High speed bottling production line produces 288 bottles every 2 minutes. My job is to ensure that proper maintenance schedules are met as well as production needs.
I work with a team of 2 other technicians that assist with repairs, maintenance needs and production needs. The type of equipment we work with are PLC's, VFD's, Siemens HMI's and several micro controllers. Voltages range to 480.
Overall, this job has taught me to be well rounded on the production floor as a technician. The mechatronics industry has a bright future and being on the forefront working with robotics and automation on a daily basis in very rewarding and interesting
Currently interested in a master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
