I am looking to advance in my career as a dental assistant. I just recently passed my DANB RHS exam and will be receiving my dental x ray license. I am eager to learn and with the proper training/opportunity combined with my drive and work ethic, I believe I can go extremely far in this field.

Dental Assistant at Afdent (2023-01 – Present)

I am fairly new to dental assisting and am receiving on the job training while helping assist our doctors with a variety of dental procedures, such as simple extractions, wisdom teeth extractions, root canals, and filling preps.

Sterilization Technician at Afdent (2020-12 – 2022-01)

I use an autoclave as well as an ultrasonic to sterilize dental instruments, after they have been wiped down with alcohol and properly packaged. I also clean and disinfect operatories.

DRL/Hourly SHL/Expo/GSR at Mission BBQ (2020-01 – 2021-01)

I do a myriad of tasks. Most of the time I am in the dining room, interacting with guests, busing tables, etc. Other times I am expediting guests food, or working as a cashier. I also know the procedures for opening and closing the restaurant.

Cashier at Shigs In Pit (2018-04 – 2020-01)

Take orders via cash register, handle cash as well as credit card transactions, clean, help open and close the store, etc. I received a $1.00 raise approximately a month ago. I did quit for 2 months, to pursue another field of work, but came back to Whigs. My rehire date was February 15, 2019.

Warehouse Picker and Packer at Matilda Jane Clothing (2018-12 – 2019-02)

I picked orders according to customer order sheets, while using the provided technology. I packed and shipped orders to customer. I swept aisles. I put items away using the provided technology.

Food Service Worker at Snyder Food Services (2017-01 – 2018-03)

Mostly, I worked in the cooler, packing boxes of food for the drivers to deliver on their various routes. Sometimes, I worked as either the labeler or packer on the food wrapping machine. I helped with catering a couple of times. Other times, I simply just made sandwiches or salads, or whatever various food item was needed for that day. I did receive a $1.00 raise, three months into my employment.

Staff at Collectivo Coffee Roasters (2017-08 – 2017-12)

I worked as a bar back, worked in SB (the kitchen) prepping food items, making sandwiches, serving food to customers, etc. I also helped open and close the store.

Barista at Great Lakes Coffee and Chocolate Company (2017-06 – 2017-08)

I made coffee and espresso drinks, as well as smoothies, teas, etc. I helped open and close the store. I also took orders through the drive thru, worked as a cashier, and also sometimes as the shift leader.

Housekeeper at Homewood Suites by Hilton (2017-02 – 2017-07)

I had to thoroughly clean each hotel room/suite within 29 minutes. I had to completely tear down and remake beds, clean toilets, sinks, mirrors, bathtubs and showers, vacuum floors, mop, etc.

Barista at The Bean Cafe and Tea House (2010-06 – 2015-05)

I made coffee and espresso drinks, steamed milk, cleaned, worked as a cashier, opened and closed the business, served food to clientele, prepped food, prepared and served hookahs to clients, etc.
