I am currently working as a high school science teacher as I complete the final year of my PhD in Education from North Dakota State University. My goal is to work as a faculty member in preservice science teacher preparation while continuing to pursue areas of research related to authentic learning in science and effective preservice teacher mentoring.
I have been a high school science educator for 12 years in the areas of chemistry and AP biology. I have worked with many student teachers from the University of Arizona and North Dakota State University. I am currently co-teaching a graduate qualitative research class while I finish my remaining coursework for my PhD in Education at North Dakota State University. After this semester I will be ABD in my doctoral journey.
