I am deeply passionate about the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity and the critical role it plays in protecting people, data, and organizations. With a natural curiosity for how systems work- and how they can be protected- I am driven by a desire to understand threats, identify vulnerabilities, and build a safer digital environment.
Whether it's studying best practices, completing online courses, or participating in capture-the-flag challenges, I am fully committed to developing the skills necessary to become a valuable asset in this field.
I am now looking to connect with others in the technology space, gain mentorship, and explore entry-level opportunities where I can apply my knowledge, continue learning, and contribute to real-world security efforts.
While I have yet for a company to allow me to truly immerse myself in a more professional role, I have technical experience in a variety of hands-on cybersecurity work. This includes developing tools for password cracking, network vulnerability scanning, phishing detection, and SQL injection. I have also regularly engaged in platforms such as Hack The Box and have engaged in multiple technical leadership roles that support tech-related sales and other services.
With this, I have contributed to security training simulations, bug bounty projects, and client-side code audits with responsible disclosure.
I have pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This degree has combined neuroscience with rigorous training in biology, physics, chemistry, and advanced mathematics. Additionally, I earned a FullStack Cybersecurity certificate from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
This consisted of a full-time program focused on cybersecurity analytics and practical tool development. These academic credentials are reinforced by professional certifications such as the COMTIA Security +, Google Cloud Cybersecurity, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), and much more.
