Taylor Carlstrand

Recent graduate in broadcast production and video editing. Passionate about live production with experience working sports events in collaboration with ESPN, local pageants, student plays as well as man on the street and Zoom interviews. Creative video editor proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and adept at completing projects under strict timelines requiring critical thinking with thorough knowledge of editing software.

Collaborated with counterparts to create short films. Dedicated team member that wants to share and create stories for the world to see.

I've done work with Whistleblowers of America, this was a remote volunteer job. My duties were to edit WOA's 2022 raw conference footage. I made 9 videos in total, 8 of them were of the speaker panels they had and the 9th video was a trailer for the conference. I cut the footage and fixed any distracting audio issues such as background disruptions. I also added graphics, logos, music, lower thirds, and an intro to each video.

I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas on May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication I had a GPA of 3.68 and Honors in Cum Laude, Presidents List, and Deans List.
