Ted Li

I am a student graduating this May and hope to land a job in data science/machine learning. I have a strong background in software development and mathematics and am extremely passionate about AI. While I may not have many years of professional experience, I jump on every opportunity to gain new skills and am far ahead from most of my peers.

I worked as a geospatial data analyst for Oak Ridge National Laboratory the summer of 2024. I developed a python pipeline to process images from NASA data repository to be passed in through a computer vision model for the goal of making predictions on flooded/non flooded areas from the images.

I am also currently working as a undergraduate researcher for my university where I am trying to build a dynamical system to model the human biological components based on ICU patient data.

I am graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in May 2025 where I double majored in CMDA (Computational Modeling and Data Analytics) and Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science.

I have obtained a Associate's Degree in Computer Science in 2022.
