• I was also responsible for determining the needs for psychological care and treatment such as threats of suicide and danger to self and others ( 5150).
• I was asked occasionally to draw blood in the clinic and the VA office as needed.
• It was my job to provide a calm and personal response to our parents and teens.
• Having someone to answer the phone that could take the time to listen to their smallest needs was a service I was happy to provide and I took great pride in do it.

Long Term Care Facility Surveyor - State of Idaho - Boise, ID

I was part of a 2 - 6 member team ( varied per facility size), that Surveyed and researched the entire facility. The surveyors were tasked with ensuring the compliance of state and federal regulations for healthcare and their facility standards, in all long term healthcare facilities in the state of Idaho. We traveled and surveyed one long term care facility for a week.

The next week we returned to our offices and prepared the "tags" listing the deficiencies that needed attention in areas such as patient care, dietary, laundry and facilities maintenance etc… to be addressed. This required extensive research in the state and federal regulations and collaborations from the main office in Boise for accuracy in the assessment of the variances regarding the regulations.
