Hello! My name is Tess Clark and I am from Grand Rapids, MI. I am finishing up my BFA as a senior at Grand Valley State University where I study Visual Studies in Studio Art. I have an interdisciplinary practice and specialize in painting, video art, and collage art.
I am skilled with experience in various creative fields including those in professional environments, as well as fashion design, music/ performance, and more. I would love to be a part of your next project and bring in fresh perspectives, a motivated attitude, and ability to adapt with my range of skillsets!
From January- May 2022 I lived in Florence, Italy where I studied studio art and worked as a live art model. Before my departure to Italy, I worked as a gallery attendant at the Grand Rapids Art Museum and worked on personal commissions in photo, video, and painting during my studies at GVSU. I have worked with businesses on large scale projects like window painting and murals, and was a photographer's assistant for many years.
I have also worked jobs in customer service, and have acquired skills in mounting artwork and building frames with power tools, as well as working events such as weddings.
Currently finishing up my BFA in Visual Studies at Grand Valley State University.
