About

I have worked in a variety of fields during my 27 year nursing career. I began as a medical/surgical nurse with adult care in the Philippines, as well as the United States. I transitioned into the arena of nursing in the public schools in order to expand my nursing experience to include children and the community.

My best attributes, according to my evaluation include Teamwork, Nursing Care Delivery, Attitude and Responsiveness. I work well with all team members by building trust with my colleagues by respecting and supporting the contributions of everyone. My assessments are accurate and concise.

It has been noted by my supervisors that I stay focused and foster a bedside approach where concerns are valued and acted upon. I promptly address and handle expected and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently. Currently, I am a behavioral nurse working with older adults at Generations at Mountain Vista Medical Center.
