Tiara Fitz is an experienced educator and equity leader with a strong background in student advocacy, culturally responsive practices, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Student Success Advocate Supervisor for Portland Public Schools' Racial Equity and Social Justice Department, she leads initiatives that support student engagement, coach school administrators and teachers, and manage program budgets.

Her previous roles include Equity Team Leader and Literacy Support Specialist, where she developed and implemented school-based equity plans, facilitated staff training, and provided direct academic support to elementary students. Tiara also brings over a decade of experience in the financial sector, where she handled high-stakes investigations and led focus groups on workplace improvement.

Throughout her career, she has consistently built strong relationships across diverse communities, empowered student voice, and championed inclusive systems change.

Tiara Fitz holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Business Administration, both from Warner Pacific University. Her graduate studies provided a strong foundation in instructional strategies, educational leadership, and student-centered learning.
