Tiffanie Duong

Counselor-in-training with a strong interest in working with adults and couples navigating trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, while also drawing from Narrative Therapy to support meaning-making and personal growth. I incorporate psychodynamic concepts to explore how past experiences may be influencing present concerns and use a systemic lens when working with couples, often pulling from Gottman-based interventions to strengthen communication and connection.

I believe psychoeducation plays an important role in helping clients better understand themselves and their experiences. I am currently using EMDR-informed interventions in clinical practice and am working toward completing EMDR training, expected in Fall 2026. Along with my clinical training, I bring strong interpersonal, leadership, and professional skills developed through years of experience in business management, human resources, and community service.
