I’m a newly licensed Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) I am excited to begin my nursing career and continue growing through new experiences and opportunities. Throughout nursing school, I gained hands-on clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, urgent care, rehabilitation, dialysis, behavioral health, hospice, emergency care, and long-term care. These experiences strengthened my passion for nursing and taught me the importance of providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care to every patient.
Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a pharmacy clerk, where I developed valuable experience communicating with patients and healthcare professionals while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role strengthened my attention to detail, professionalism, understanding of patient confidentiality, and ability to work as part of a healthcare team. I also have certifications in CNA, patient care technology, EKG, and phlebotomy, along with BLS certification and the ability to communicate with patients in both English and Spanish.
As I begin this next chapter, I’m looking forward to learning from experienced healthcare professionals, expanding my clinical knowledge, and exploring the many opportunities nursing has to offer. I value being someone patients and families can feel comfortable with, especially during vulnerable moments. I’m eager to continue developing as a nurse, take on new challenges, and build a strong foundation for my future in healthcare.
My long-term goal is to continue my education and advance from LVN to RN and eventually earn my BSN.
