I am currently a junior at UIUC majoring in advertising and minoring in business. I am in multiple cultural clubs and business clubs on the side and also love playing competitive volleyball & cooking. I have a passion for social sciences and research and I am also a research assistant at the Technology and Social Behavior Lab here at UIUC.
I have gained a bit of professional experience with my time in college through business clubs, partnerships, and agency work. Most of the time it's with local companies in the area looking to partner with clubs on campus for exposure and marketing. Through this I have been able to strengthen my communication, leadership, and organizational skills and have been able to lead teams to finish prospective projects.
My most relevant classes would be Consumer Insight, IT for Networked Organizations, Social Media Analytics, Principles of Marketing, Management & Organizational Behavior, Corporate Finance, & Advertising Research Methods. These classes stood out the most to me and I could see myself utilizing the skills I learned in these classes in the real world.
