Brought on to lead the CSU pre-medical & dentistry program focused on preparing students for acceptance to medical and dental school and instilling a commitment to giving back to underserved communities to enrich the health and heritage of underserved patients in Northeast Ohio. Report directly to the Dean of the College of Health while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to establish a best-in-class program that prepares CSU students for education and career opportunities in medicine and dentistry to empower them to meet the needs of underserved communities. Serve as a high-level and strategic interface with city/county agencies and schools, as well as an extensive network of nonprofit and for-profit community partners while responsibly managing all aspects of the program, including planning and fiscal management.
Take the lead in driving continuing improvement in program performance in critical areas including student development, student relations, and stakeholder engagement. Closely liaise with community groups and external agencies to enhance program efficacy and create opportunities to showcase the CSU Pathways to Practice program.

On a part-time weekend basis, evaluate medical records of patients in the State of Ohio to confirm qualifying conditions for medical marijuana. Patients are seen via Doxy.me telehealth platform as new patients and for annual renewals. The State of Ohio currently has 21 qualifying conditions to receive medical marijuana recommendation from MMJ-certified physicians.
