The Program provides complete training with emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of the hospitalized patient with complex medical conditions as well as a complete training of managing patients in ambulatory care setting. I had a complete exposure to other specialties including Gyn, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, Adolescent Medicine and endocrinology which is truly required for outpatient primary care practice.
During the residency I got a complete training regarding patient admissions, evidence based practice of medicine both in hospital and ambulatory care settings, procedures, discharge planning in ER, ICU, General and Telemetry floors. This program provided me a very enriching and fulfilling experience in different subspecialties of medicine to complete my training as a general medical practitioner.
