Tommy Garcia

I am currently a fourth year Business in Entertainment major at California State University. My love for media has made it my dream to pursue a career in the entertainment industry and I am currently looking for ways to be involved in to get used to this aggressive, fast-paced, growing environment.

The educational experience I have gained throughout my years has taught me the fundamentals such as communication, interpersonal skills, technology skills, and writing that will help me succeed in the environment I will work in. These same skills have given me the motivation to pursue this big opportunity as I believe they can really help me thrive in this company.

My internships at worldwide motion pictures corporation and the Newport Beach Film Festival have only fueled my love and passion for the entertainment industry, helping me work in groups, as well as improve on my own skills to help build on real world solutions. Whether it is in a group or alone, I find this work quite fascinating and I dream of making a career out of this.

I am also currently doing camera work for both the OC News and Titan Sports, which is the sports program here at my university, as I slowly try to move my way up to floor director, producer, and hopefully a full-on director.

Finishing up my final year at California State University Fullerton, while receiving my bachelor's in business Entertainment, have taught me the fundamentals and prepared for the “real world”
