An engineering student with a vision to use technology to make this world a better place.
I have worked as a lifeguard for both the YMCA as well as St. Clair Country Club since 2018. At both jobs, I was responsible for watching and ensuring the safety of all patrons in the poll area, cleaning and maintaining the area, opening and closing the pool, as well as testing chemicals and enforcing policies. My boss at the YMCA also selected me to teach several swimming classes for young children from 2019 until the beginning of the pandemic.
By this summer, I will have finished my second year as a computer systems engineering major in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University. I have leaned the basics of coding and engineering basics my freshman year. Now, during my sophomore year, I have begun building on those basics as well as learning how to build the circuits which make up microprocessors.
This upcoming semester, I will gain experience with Linux, C, C++, and assembly as well as improve on my knowledge of circuits.
