Investigated, developed, and tested a novel eco-friendly, biodegradable chelating agent for industrial rust removal using a sodium citrate base. Synthesized and incorporated plant-based corrosion inhibitors into the compound mixture to improve solution efficacy while reducing environmental toxicity. Designed and conducted control experiments and baseline testing to evaluate chelating kinetics against standard commercial formulations.
