I’m currently pursing a nursing degree & I believe with my almost 2 years of experience as a phlebotomist I will make a good fit for this opportunity. In 2024 after I graduated high school I quickly took interest in healthcare. Working as a Nursing Assistant at Henry Ford Health, I was open to many experiences with Phlebotomy being one of them.
As a Nursing Assistant we were able to complete lab draws as needed which is where I began to take interest. After about a few months I took it upon myself to enroll myself in a phlebotomy course and from there I received my certification through NHA. When I received my certification I resigned my position at Henry Ford to become a FT Phlebotomist at Mclaren Oakland Hospital.
