Ty Erickson

I am currently a senior in high school. I am a christian and have been for some years. I am in a family of seven, a mom, dad and four sisters. I work hard in everything that I do. I make sure that when I start a job I finish it. I want to get stuff done. I hate wasting time. I want to make sure that I'm using my time wisely and that I'm getting things done and making progress on whatever I'm doing. I am in one of the highest positions in student leadership at my school. I help both plan and set up events for my school. I direct and lead others when setting up and hosting events at our school. I have MC'd most events where I have made sure that announcements are made during the event and that people stay engaged as the event goes on. I have, for my time in high school, set up countless events that my school has hosted. I am also in the mentor program at my school, I help kids try to find their love for the school and their education. I do my best to make sure that they feel welcomed as they progress through their years in both middle school and high school making sure that their transition from elementary school to middle school or from middle school to high school is as smooth as possible. I play varsity football and varsity/club volleyball. I am a self proclaimed gym rat, I have been working out for three years and counting. I am in four singing ensembles at my school: barbershop quartet, concert choir, chamber singers and mens choir. I have been able to be apart of the All Regional choir, where all the best singers in the region come together to practice and perform songs. I have performed with them two years in a row, sophomore and junior year. I'm CPR certified, I have taken lifeguard training a few years ago. I know the steps of taking care of someone if they are in need of medical attention. I'm graduating in the year 2025. As I go to College I plan to pursue sports medicine and music. I plan to be an athletic or personal trainer and maybe pursue a small music career on the side.

My previous professional experience is self employed landscaping. I have helped people at my church with their yards. I have cleaned pools and picked up natural debris such as branches and leaves. my payment was $25 an hour. I worked over the summer last year.

I am still currently enrolled in high school as a senior at a charter school called Cicero Preparatory Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona.
