Mechanical Design Intern MGA Research Corporation | January 2023 - December 2023

Design engineers at MGA are responsible for designing testing equipment which will be used to test vehicles and/or vehicle battery packs in accordance with a variety of different safety standards. Responsibilities include:

• Use FEA to conduct stress analyses for static load cases.
• Create 3-D CAD models.
• Create technical engineering drawings using GD&T.
• Conduct validation & verification testing.
