I am currently enrolled in a 4 year Biobehavioral Health (BBH) program at Penn State University and am in the process of applying for a Masters in Public Health through Penn State. I am dedicated to what I do in BBH and some vital class work that I complete includes reading, writing, and critiquing scientific papers, performing statistical analysis and analysis of variance, examining the pharmacological effects of various drugs and disorders, working in groups on various projects, and working independently to achieve optimal grades on exams. My strengths include being an excellent writer, being very efficient with technological programs (Microsoft), being able to work effectively with peers, and loving what I do, which makes for a hard worker.
I have worked three basic jobs throughout high school and college. I worked as a dining room server, a retail cashier, and as a hotel front desk attendant. All three of these jobs taught me numerous lessons but my biggest takeaways were to show up early, be prepared to put forth my best effort day-in and day-out, how to work as a team to accomplish a goal, and made great connections with my co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
